Katrina's Place(r) in the World: Love at first sight!

My mom got me a Kindle 3G with WiFi for Christmas, which yes I did open early, but it was SOOO worth it!

I'm in love.

I can read again.

My fibromyalgia makes it hard to hold a book for too long before my arms go numb and my neck and shoulders cramp up. Plus my eyes tire quickly, get watery and start to hurt. So I've been relegated to magazines for quite some time now. Short, to the point, and light!

I've only had the Kindle for about 48 hours, but I'm already reading again. Two books to be exact. One fiction, One non-fiction/humor. Plus I haven't even gotten into the whole audio book world on it, but for when my eyes are really tired, whoa baby, I can't wait!

The kindle is light. I can hold it in one had and let the other arm rest. I can change the font type, size and word spacing to keep my eyes from getting too tired. Plus, it's just super techy cool! The cover she got for comes with a light that doesn't require a battery. As long as the Kindle is plugged into the cover and on, the light will turn on. This impressed me too. It's great for those tired eyes.

I love the ink print screen. I was concerned about no back lighting, but it is so nice the way it is. You don't that computer screen eye fatigue this way.
