Well my sister and family have come and gone. My ankle is healing. The heat is still generally outrageous and the summer of 2010 is coming to an end.
I don't really have much to say, but just thought I'd check in with everyone and say things are going ok.
I still hurt, most of the time, but the pain is getting better. So that's good. The visit from my family was more than needed and getting to see the kids was wonderful. Our house is so quiet now with out the pitter patter of little feet running up and down 3 flights of stairs. We loved Sesame Place, getting to see Cookie Monster dressed up as a Rapper and Rap "C is for Cookie" was beyond hysterical for Rob and I! Hitting the beach was wonderful too. Evan even made a Sand Angel, very funny kid.
I've added a Fibromyalgia Awareness picture to my blog. My fibro has been flared up alot lately, I had gone a few years without much pain, so it's been rather distressing. If you don't know what FMS is, please take the time to educate yourself. Those of us with it suffer in silence, as it's an 'invisible' disease. We look fine, but we HURT all of the time. There is no known cure. Check out www.fibromyalgia.com as a start, but there are plenty of other great sites. As always, thanks to everyone for all of your support when I'm hurting!
